Maintaining Hardwood Floors.
It is very vital to properly know how to clean hardwood floors to avoid any damage.
Avoid using brooms with stiff bristels and vacuums where the bristels are fairly to very rough.
Mop floor with dry damp mop. ( DO NOT soak your floor in cleaning solution. It will cause the water to soak down and eventually stain your floor from water/ liquid damage.)
If you have area rugs, make sure to vacuum about 2-3 times weekly to avoid dirt seeping into the weaves of the rug, which can cause scratching of the wood floor.
Some cleaners are not made for every type of floor. Make sure you are using liquids that are MADE for hardwood floors to avoid staining the wood.
